Are you suffering draughts and heat loss through the floor?
Batts vs Spray Foam Floor Insulation
Why spray foam insulation instead of installing batts under your floorboards?
There is nothing worse than the curse of draughty floorboards. Not wanting to get out of bed when those first cold wintery mornings start to arrive. The good thing is that it can all be fixed with our high-performance spray foam insulation.
So why spray foam insulation instead of installing batts under your floorboards? There are a number of reasons why, one of the most important being that floor insulation should not be measured in ‘R Value’ alone.
Traditional insulation like batts only protect against heating and cooling loss caused by conduction whereas spray foam insulation thoroughly protects against other paths of heating and cooling.
