Competition Terms & Conditions

1. Name of Promotion

2. Promoter Name & ABN
CANBERRA INSULATION SPECIALISTS PTY LTD trading as Alexander Watson Insulation & Electrification (ABN: 12 164 955 542)
The abovementioned company will be hereafter referred to as the ‘Promoter’.

3. State or Territory
Australian Capital Territory (ACT)

4. Competition Period Start Date & Time
Saturday 15th March 2025, 9:00 AM AEST

5. Competition Period Close Date & Time
Sunday 16th March 2025, 3:00 PM AEST

6. Entry Restrictions
a) The competition is open to residents of the Australian Capital Territory.
b) The competition prize is valid only for homeowners (owner-occupiers) residing in the ACT.
c) Each entrant may only enter the competition once.
d) Employees of the Promoter or their family members or anyone else connected with the competition shall not be permitted to enter.
e) Entries can only be made in an individual’s own name.

7. How to Enter
Entrants must register with the ShowRoom Canberra’s Home & Lifestyle Show’s ticketing system through Ticketebo and scan the Promoter’s QR code at the Promoter’s exhibition during the competition period.

8. Prize Details
a) The competition prize is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.
b) If the specified prize becomes unavailable, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal value.
c) The drawing of the competition prize will take place at a location and on a date chosen by the Promoter.
d) The prize must be redeemed within a reasonable timeframe.
e) The installation of the prize is subject to the Promoter’s conditions. The installation must be a back-to-back split system unit up to a certain value or $3,000 towards a ducted system upgrade for their home.

9. Total Prize Value
Up to $3,000 (excluding GST)

10. Winner Notification
a) The winner will be contacted by the Promoter via phone and/or other available contact information.
b) Proof of identification, including proof of homeownership, will be required.
c) The prize will only be awarded after the winner’s validation and verification.
d) The decision of the winning entrant is final.

11. Publication Details
Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for the Promoter to use the winner’s name, suburb, voice, and non-sensitive images for promotional purposes.

12. Prize Claim Date and Unclaimed Prize Draw
If the winner does not claim the prize, an unclaimed prize draw will be held after three months from the competition close date.

13. Special Conditions
a) The Promoter reserves the right to discontinue the competition at any time.
b) If the competition cannot proceed as planned, the Promoter may cancel, modify, or suspend the competition.
c) The Promoter assumes no responsibility for lost communications, failed deliveries, or errors.
d) The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or acting in violation of these terms.
e) The Promoter is not responsible for prize loss due to incorrect details provided by an entrant.

14. Exclusion of Liability
a) The Promoter takes no responsibility for the loss of prizes due to incorrect contact details provided by an entrant.
b) The Promoter makes no guarantees regarding the quality of the prize.
c) The Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered in connection with the competition, including any changes to the value of the prize.
d) The winner may be required to sign a liability release as a condition of receiving the prize.

By entering this competition, entrants grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the materials for conducting the competition and marketing purposes.
