Our Story

Founded in 2011 by then newlyweds Jeremy and Peta Watson, from very humble beginnings, Alexander Watson has grown to become Canberra’s premier insulation company for existing and high-performance homes. As Canberra’s only family insulation business, we have built a reputation for quality of product and customer service above all else and this culture is installed in every single one of our team.

Over the last ten years we have brought some game changing innovations to the Canberra insulation market such as:

  • Spray foam insulation for old floors, sheds, wineries and high performance new builds

  • In-house licenced electrical and refrigeration technicians to provide a compliant and wholistic retrofit service for insulation and heating and cooling upgrades

Insulation Teams

All Alexander Watson Insulation installers and electricians are our own in-house employees. We will never subcontract out the work or pay quantity based incentives so you can rest assured your home will get the treatment it deserves.

Our Training Centre

Alexander Watson offers training for all apprenticeships and new team members. Our special built training centre launched in 2023 to give our trainees full hands on experience and skills before they are sent to our client’s home with EEC certified training delivered by our in house Cert IV trainers.
