Guarantee Gap Free Insulation by Safely Insulating Over Your Lights.

Part of any insulation installation is having a safe plan for recessed downlights, which means we need to either have a downlight that is IC rated (IC stands for insulation contact) or a downlight cover that is IC rated fitted to the existing light so that we can safely bury it with insulation.

We need to do this because we want to be able to continue the insulation installation in a complete coverage and not leave any gaps.

If your current lights are not IC rated our electricians can change them over to IC rated LED downlights to avoid the use of downlight covers.

We have an entire section of our installation guide dedicated to electrical compliance. If you haven’t done so already, download a copy below.
